Creating awareness-raising campaigns, guidance and counselling services for young adults as well for the people in the working life are our main focuses in the smoking prevention.

Physical Exercise & Sports

Heli is a support member for National Sports Federation in Finland. Heli and its local associations organise sports camps, sports education courses and groups of physical exercise on regular basis for various groups of people. Heli also organises sports campaigns in co-operation with other partners and associations.

With its edition of almost 60 000, it has established itself as a well-respected expert journal. Also, a special magazine for young members, is published once a year.

Heli publishes a vast amount of brochures. Hundreds of thousands of copies are distributed each year free of charge to our members, to patients with respiratory diseases and to various professional groups.

Fundraising

Each year various fundraising campaigns and joint projects are organised. Through these efforts funds are collected as well from private persons as from corporate sources, especially to promote the well being of the children with respiratory diseases. Also various products are sold, like printed forms of condolences, Christmas cards etc. The latest innovation in fundraising is a goods lottery on the internet; the lottery ticket can be bought and scraped on line.
